Attorney Alexis Kenney is an associate at JD Molleur Law, PLLC. She was selected for the Thomas M. Menino Scholarship, a full – tuition merit-based scholarship, and graduated Magna Cum Laude with a B.A. in political science from Boston University in 2019. In 2019, she was selected for the Dean’s Fellowship at Quinnipiac University School of Law, a full – tuition merit-based scholarship, and graduated with her J.D., Magna Cum Laude, in 2022. In her time at Law School, she was an editor for Quinnipiac’s Probate Law Journal and was an active member of the Dispute Resolution team and competed regionally in mock mediation and client counseling competitions. More formatively, while in law school, she began working with tenants who had been treated unfairly to seek relief. This is when she realized how much she enjoyed housing law. Alexis focuses her practice on landlord/tenant disputes, personal injury, and general civil litigation.
Personal Background
Growing up in the City of Boston, Alexis was able to take advantage of various opportunities that helped her develop into the Attorney and person she is today. As a Boston Public School student, she sought the opportunity to intern at two different Boston law firms during her high school summer breaks through the Boston Bar Association. Before attending law school, she helped serve the constituents of East Boston as the liaison to the State Representative. She also interned at the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination and twice at the Massachusetts Attorney General Office, in the Consumer Advocacy and Response Division and in the Division of Open Government. Alexis values being on a first name basis with her clients. She treats her clients, and opposing counsel, in a respectful, collaborative manner. She prides herself on her kindness and empathy, while also fiercely advocating for her clients at every stage of litigation. Alexis has strong love for her family, her community, her two rescue dogs, the Boston Bruins, and the Boston Red Sox.
